Instead of Quizlet, Brainscape

What you get, free

  • Paste a list from your notes, Quizlet or Anki, or import a CSV, up to 2,000 cards a set
  • Flashcards, Learn (multiple choice then typed answers), practice tests, Match and spaced review
  • Small typos and missing accents count, with a note
  • Read either side aloud in the language you pick
  • A study link anyone can use and copy, and a private edit link for you
  • CSV download that Anki can import
  • No sign-up; sign in only to keep sets on every device

A study set is a few small records, so Cards costs almost nothing to run.

For AI assistants

Cards has an open API: an assistant can turn lecture notes into a study set in one call and give the person the study link and the edit link.

The app's guide for assistants is at cards-free.openapps.xyz/llms.txt, and its API at https://functions.bounded.sh/apps/2fa1af962bc28ba77ece4b04/api.
